Consignment Drop Off Policy

Our goal at Back on the Rack is to create an organized and comfortable environment that offers high quality clothing and toys at substantial savings which will make every customer feel special. In order to do this we balance the amount of items we accept with the amount that we can process and have room for on our racks. We essentially can only take in the amount of items that get sold.

We accept consignor drop offs Tuesday through Saturday. You must have an appointment to drop off clothes, shoes and accessories. Your appointment is good any time during normal business hours of that day and is only to drop off your items so it will be very quick

Because new consignors are unaware of the process, some appointments are set aside for people new to the Back on the Rack family. Please call the store during our normal business hours if you are a new consignor and would like to discuss making an appointment.

Consignors will be allowed to drop off 1 bag of clothing items and 1 bag of shoes and accessories. When you bring your items in we will provide you with durable nylon bags. Be sure to sort your best items as we can only accept what will fit in our bags.  Overstuffing bags is not allowed for the safety of our staff.

For baby equipment and toys you do not need an appointment so those items will be accepted based on our current inventory.  If you have large items like a crib, glider, diaper changing table, swing or pack and play, please call the store first before bringing them in. We may not be able to accept them immediately based on our current inventory but will accommodate you as quickly as possible.  When bringing in such items, you will be asked to assemble them so we can be sure all of the parts have arrived and that the item is clean and in working order.
